Zelensky: Enemy can enter Kyiv only if it defeats all of us.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Russian troops can enter Kyiv only if they defeat all Ukrainians.
He said this in an interview with foreign media, when asked if there is a possibility that Russian invaders can enter Kyiv, Ukrinform reports..
“If there are hundreds, thousands of people and thousands of soldiers, who are now being mobilized by Russia, and if hundreds or thousands of tanks come, they may come to Kyiv. We understand that. If they use ‘carpet bombing’ and just decide to erase historical memory of this entire region, the history of Kyivan Rus, the history of Europe... Only by defeating us, they can enter Kyiv. Therefore, if that’s the goal, let them come," said the President.
According to the president, in this case, the enemy will have to live on this earth alone, and "exactly without us." "They will definitely not find friends among us," Zelensky stressed.
