Putin announces readiness to sell Russian weapons to Saudi Arabia.

Russia is ready to assist Saudi Arabia in protecting the country in case of purchasing Russian weapons. TASS reports this, referring to the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Regarding assistance to Saudi Arabia. The Qur'an speaks of the unacceptability of any kind of violence other than defending one’s kind. To protect “one’s kind,” one’s country, we are ready to provide appropriate assistance to Saudi Arabia, and it’s enough for the political leadership of Saudi Arabia to make a wise state decision. As the Iranian leaders did in their time by purchasing the S-300, and President Erdogan did, purchasing Russian latest S-400 Triumph air defense systems, which will reliably protect any Saudi infrastructure," Putin stressed.

On Saturday, September 14, the Ansar Allah extremist organization led by Yemeni Shiite Abdul-Malik al-Khusi carried out a terrorist attack in Saudi Arabia. Extremists took responsibility for it on the same day. Ten drones attacked the refineries of the Aramco Company in the settlements of Abqaiq and Khurais. Thick clouds of black smoke enveloped the sky. The company might lose five million barrels of oil as a result of the fire. This is the second Houthis attack on the kingdom’s oil industry this year. In May, the Houthi rebels blew up the East-West pipeline in Saudi Arabia using drones. We did not mention the systematic rocket attacks from the territory of Yemen against Arabian settlements, including the suburbs of the capital of Riyadh. The attack goes beyond the confrontation between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia in an armed conflict on the territory of Yemen and meets the interests of Iran. The United States has already announced this.
