Two civilians killed in Russian strike on Kupyansk

Two people were killed in a Russian strike on Kupyansk, Kharkiv region.

"The occupiers shelled the town. An apartment building and a polyclinic were struck. Two passers-by were killed," Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko posted on Telegram.

As Oleg Synegubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram, "Kupyansk was struck around 07:40. A 9-story residential building and a polyclinic were damaged. Unfortunately, two people – a 55-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man – were killed, one man was hospitalized, another one received medical help at the site."

Over the past day, the Russians kept shelling the frontline areas of Kharkiv region. In Kupyansk, a private house was damaged in the shelling. No casualties were reported.

After 15:00 yesterday, the invaders destroyed several houses and farm buildings in Vovchansk. Nobody was injured.

Synegubov emphasized that the mine danger remained high. Explosives technicians neutralized 299 landmines over the past day.

As reported, on the evening of November 21, the Russians struck Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, with MLRS. A 57-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man were hospitalized with injuries.
