On the night of March 19, Russian troops shelled New York settlement in Donetsk region.
Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
"Private and apartment buildings and the road were damaged. There were no casualties," Yermak wrote.

As reported by Ukrinform, according to data provided by regional military administrations, Russian forces launched an airstrike on Donetsk region; they also shelled the region using Smerch, Uragan, and Grad MLRS, as well as artillery and tanks. Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhivka, Hostre, Berdychi, Novoukrainka, Karlivka, Sieverne, Kalynove came under fire. As a result of the attacks, three civilians were killed and 18 more were injured over the past day.
