Boiko urges to adopt changes to budget, help public utilities.
Co-Chairman of the Opposition Platform–For Life party Yuriy Boiko has called Ukrainian public utilities workers who, under shelling, eliminate accidents and ensure the vital activity of cities, heroes, and called on MPs to adopt changes to the budget and help public utilities.
"Today I want to say thank you to our public utilities. Our public utilities, power engineers, electricians are the same heroes as our soldiers at the front. They show mass heroism when they eliminate accidents under shelling and ensure the vital activity of our cities, allowing our people to live. And in Kharkiv region, in Chernihiv, in Luhansk region there are already a lot of examples when our public utilities, our power engineers showed mass heroism and helped these cities survive," Boiko said.
The politician once again called on the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada to get together to make changes to the budget and financially support Ukrainian public utilities.
"Our faction, we are all in Kyiv. We are ready to get together, ready to come to parliament and decide to make changes to the budget, to adopt all the necessary documents. So that these people feel that not only they care about the security of our country, but that we, parliamentarians, we also help them and also take care of them. This is our duty!" Boiko emphasized.
