The State Emergency Service reports that two people were killed as a result of shells hit by invaders in Sviatoshynsky district of Kyiv on Thursday.
"On March 17, at about 16:30, the Rescue Service 101 received several messages simultaneously about fires in Sviatoshynsky district of the capital. As a result of shells hit, two cars ignited. At 17:04, the fire was extinguished. One person died," the State Emergency Service said on the Telegram channel.
Also, according to the State Emergency Service, grassy flooring on an area of 5,000 square meters caught fire nearby. The fire is still being extinguished.
"Another call was received about a fire in a warehouse. The fire area is 10,000 square meters. There is a threat of a projectile explosion due to extinguishing the fire from a safe distance. Liquidation continues. According to preliminary information, one person died as a result of the fire," the report says.
