Enemy running out of manpower to storm Bakhmut - General Syrskyi.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces are holding their ground in the town of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting heavy losses on the Russian invasion forces.

This was reported by the Commander of Ukraine’s Ground Forces, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Ukrinform saw.

"In Bakhmut, in some areas, the enemy is noticeably nervous, because time plays against them, and the occupiers are running out of human resources for storming our positions," Sirskyi said.

Coherent action and stability of defense lines ensure that the Ukrainian troops fulfill their tasks, breaking the fighting spirit of the invasion forces and disrupting their plans, according to the general.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Air Defense Forces engage Russian reconnaissance UAVs, attack drones, and barrage munitions.

"I would like to note the coordinated actions of anti-aircraft gunners with the 28th and 93rd Separate Motorized Brigades, operators of the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile defense systems, which in total destroyed seven Orlan-10 UAVs and two Zala UAVs this week. Under constant influence of enemy artillery, our soldiers learned to interact with EW units, quickly detect small and inconspicuous enemy UAVs, and hit them," noted the commander of the Ground Forces.

He added that the Air Defense Forces protect Ukraine’s artillery against the strikes of enemy Lancet kamikaze drones.

As reported, the Defense Forces repelled more than 80 attacks by invaders in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Maryinka directions in the past day.
