Electricity begins to return to homes in de-occupied Cherkaski Tyshky.

The first 40 residents of the de-occupied village of Cherkaski Tyshky in the Kharkiv region have already received electricity in their homes.

This is reported on the website of the Kharkiv Regional Electricity Administration, Ukrinform reports.

"Despite all the difficulties and thanks to the professional actions of pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service and specialists of Kharkivoblenergo, residents of Cherkaski Tyshky have already received electricity in their homes. Restoration works in the Kharkiv region continue. We are doing everything possible to ensure that all residents of the de-occupied territories have electricity," said Oleg Sinegubov, the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

It is noted that the electricity transmission lines in this settlement are damaged up to 90%, which means that the damage is one of the largest in the region. Here, 14 transformer substations out of 17 were destroyed, as well as almost all the poles and spans of power lines. In addition, the approaches to the power lines were densely mined.

As a result of the damage, poles, wires and electrical equipment need to be completely replaced.
