Ukrainian forces launch over 20 air strikes on enemy positions over past 24 hours.

Over the past 24 hours, the combat aircraft of Ukraine's defense forces launched 19 strikes on Russian troop concentration areas and two strikes on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a morning update published on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Over the past 24 hours, units of rocket forces and artillery hit four command centers, six areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, three ammunition depots and five artillery units of the enemy in firing positions," the update said.

Ukraine's military says that in the last day, the enemy launched 8 missile strikes and 74 air strikes and fired multiple launch rocket systems 62 times at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

"Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. [The enemy] destroyed and damaged a hospital in the city of Huliaipole, private residential buildings in the town of Zviahel, Zhytomyr region, a cultural center in Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, and other civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region. The probability of missile and air strikes across Ukraine still remains high," the General Staff said.

Meanwhile, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on attempts to completely occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, and heavy fighting is ongoing. Some 34 combat engagements were recorded on the battlefield.

In the Volyn and Polissia areas, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna areas, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine, while strengthening the border with units of territorial forces. In the past day, the enemy carried out an airstrike in the area of Budarky, Kharkiv region.

The enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of the settlements of Karpovychi, Leonivka, Hremiach, Boiaro-Lezhachi and Sosnivka in the Chernihiv region, Khliborob, Sorokyne, Iskryskivshchyna, Neskuchne, Volfyne, Pavlivske, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Mezenivka, Slavhorod and Velyka Pysarivka in the Sumy region, as well as more than 20 settlements in the Kharkiv region. Among them are Basove, Veterynarne, Vysoka Yaruha, Izbytske, Verkhnia Pysarivka, Dmytrivka, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Budarky and Zemlianka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk area, the enemy carried out air strikes on Kotliarivka in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region. The settlements of Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Lyman Pershyi, Kyslivka, Tabaivka and Berestove in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman area, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions outside Bilohorivka and Vesele. The enemy carried out air strikes on the settlements of Nevske in the Luhansk region and Yampolivka, Dronivka, Siversk and Spirne in the Donetsk region. The settlements of Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Dibrova, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut sector, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Bohdanivka. The enemy launched air strikes near the settlements of Kurdiumivka, Bila Hora and Toretsk. Areas of the settlements of Zvanivka, Nykyforivka, Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Druzhba, Toretsk and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region came under artillery shelling.

On the Avdiivka axis, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Sieverne. The enemy carried out air strikes in the area of Vasylivka, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out artillery shelling of the areas of settlements of Novodonetske, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Nevelske and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.

In the Marinka area, Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of the city of Marinka. The enemy suffered losses. At the same time, the enemy carried out artillery shelling in the area of the settlements of Heorhiivka, Marinka, Ostrivske, Kurakhove, Dachne, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka and Katerynivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarske area, the enemy carried out air strikes near Velyka Novosilka and Blahodatne. The enemy shelled the settlements of Vuhledar, Shakhtarske, Novoukrainka, Zolota Nyva and Neskuchne in the Donetsk region.

The enemy is on the defensive in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson areas. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Vremivka, Novosilka and Novopil in the Donetsk region and Olhivske, Huliaipole and Stepove in the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy fired artillery on more than 40 settlements, including Vremivka and Vilne Pole in the Donetsk region, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Bilohiria, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamianske and Zherebianky in the Zaporizhzhia region, Marhanets and Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Tiahynka in the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

In the settlements of the temporarily captured part of the Kherson region, Russian occupiers continue to use the consequences of the crime they committed for their own purposes. In particular, only people with Russian passports are allowed to evacuate from flooded settlements. Also, the occupiers evict civilians from their own surviving homes in order to house servicemen of the Russian occupation forces there.
