Ukraine Army holds back invaders in all directions, invaders suffering significant losses - General Staff.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Territorial Defense have stopped the Russian invaders’ offensive operation in all directions.

This was reported on Facebook by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 18:00 on March 10, according to Ukrinform.

"Ukraine's defense forces are repelling and holding back the offensive operation of the Russian armed forces in all directions. Throughout the day, Ukraine’s defenders in Polissia and Volyn directions forced the enemy to retreat to the areas unfavorable to them. The settlement of Baklanova Muraviyka was liberated in the northern direction. Kyiv defenders are firmly holding their ground, protecting the city’s critical infrastructure. Russian occupiers have been stopped in all directions, while the enemy has suffered significant losses in terms of manpower, weapons, and hardware," the statement said.

The invaders reportedly focused their efforts on spreading misinformation and propaganda through all available channels. With the help of cyber units and Russia’s federal media, the enemy is actively spreading disinfo about Ukraine’s military and political leadership, creating and spreading fakes about the alleged acceptance of Russia’s ultimatums , as well as calls for the Ukrainian forces to cease fire and lay down their weapons.

"We urge you to trust verified sources only and keep your calm," the General Staff said.

The press service also noted that, despite the fact that the Russian soldiers deployed in Ukraine are isolated from objective information, some reports about Russia’s disgraceful situation still reaches out to them. There are rumors among the military about the inability of the Russian defense ministry to pay off their allowances due to sanctions, which in turn demoralizes the occupying forces. In the area of the village of Shestovytsia, Chernihiv region, the occupiers are seeking for ways to surrender.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, 71 children died over the 15 days of Russia's war against Ukraine. Another 100 children were injured.
