A large-scale Passport Application Center for the issuance of biometric passports and ID-cards was opened in Kyiv on Saturday, August 12, according to the state-owned enterprise Document.
The center occupies the third floor (1,400 square meters) of Ukraina department store, which is located at Pobeda Square.
Some 27 workstations have been equipped for reception of documents, photographing and collecting biometric data. The Ukrainian citizens will be able to obtain their documents at nine issuing points.

As UNIAN reported, the State Migration Service said earlier that delays in issuing travel passports were temporary due to a significant increase in demand.
