Two Ukrainian soldiers wounded yesterday, 27 attacks by Russian militants reported, - ATO HQ

"Late evening yesterday, the situation in the ATO area got more tense. By 6 p.m. the militants were slightly active, but in the evening and at night the enemy significantly increased the number of attacks upon our positions using mortars of various calibers," the report reads.

Donetsk direction was the hottest, ATO HQ said.

"Here, Russian mercenaries fired 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, large caliber machine guns, and grenade launchers four times upon our positions in Avdiivka. In the evening, the occupants opened fire three times from 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, IFV weapons, and small arms upon Ukrainian defenses in Pisky area. In addition, the enemy fired 12 missiles of 82 mm caliber upon Kamianka," the report reads.

In Prymorske direction, the militants employed a mortar and grenade launcher in Shyrokyne area, and shelled ATO forces' defenses in Vodiane area.

In Luhansk direction, the only hot spot was in Krymske village. After 6 p.m., the enemy opened fire three times here using grenade launchers and large caliber machine guns.

"Over the past 24h period, Russian occupation troops violated the cease-fire 27 times. Two Ukrainian defenders were wounded. ATO forces opened fire in retaliation where the threat to lives was high," the ATO HQ reported.

On Sept. 11, Russian gangs attacked Ukrainian positions 36 times.
