The diplomat said Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze and Alejandro Alvargonzález, Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy discussed annual cooperation plan implementation progress at yesterday's meeting.
"NATO is dissatisfied with the pace of implementation of annual cooperation plan implementation while this situation has been similar for several years in a row. This was not our first Annual National Program while we should have used previous experience to show greater efficiency," Prystaiko said.
Head of Ukraine's mission to NATO also said."
"It [program] is immense. We undertake daunting tasks we later prove to be unable to perform. We forget that every effort must have manpower and investment support. But this is our general problem - it's not about NATO alone. We undertake a lot of commitments, even within the country, and do not always allocate sufficient," he said.
Asked on Ukraine's intention to achieve NATO standards until 2020, Prystaiko said that NATO representatives "call this task a very challenging and ambitious."
