Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 27 times in the past 24 hours, according to the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.
"In the Luhansk sector, the invaders became more active after dark. If in the daytime only one instance of shelling of our positions from 120mm mortars was recorded near the village of Novoluhanske, in the evening the enemy repeatedly fired 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms on the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Luhanske. The defenders of the villages of Travneve and Novo-Oleksandrivka came under fire from grenade launchers, while the defenders of the villages of Lobacheve and Stanytsia Luhansksa were attacked with the use of light infantry weapons," the press center said on Facebook on Thursday morning.

Here, the occupiers repeatedly opened fire from mortars of various types and weapons of smaller calibers on the number of settlements near the Ukrainian-controlled strategic port city of Mariupol, in particular, the villages of Vodiane and Starohnativka. Moreover, the defenders of the village of Shyrokyne were attacked by a tank.
"The Russian occupation forces used grenade launchers and small arms against our positions near the village of Hnutove. In the evening, the epicenter of fire confrontation moved from [areas near] the Sea of Azov to the outskirts of the town of Avdiyivka. The defenders of the town were repeatedly attacked by the enemy, which used the entire available arsenal of infantry weapons and mortars," the ATO HQ said.
No Ukrainian soldiers were killed or wounded in action, it added.
