The National Bank of Ukraine on Tuesday evening lowered the official hryvnia exchange rate by three kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.58 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for October 11:
$100 costs UAH 2,658.6183 (on October 10, it was UAH 2,655.1695);
EUR 100 costs UAH 3,136.3720 (on October 10, it was UAH 3,118.7621);
10 RUB costs UAH 4.5782 (on October 10, it was UAH 4.5531).
NBU strengthens official exchange rate to UAH 26.55 to dollarOn Tuesday, October 10, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 26.57/26.60 to the dollar by the close of trade.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 31.36/31.39, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4588/0.4599.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 26.5862 to the dollar, with 576 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $303.60 million.
