OSCE member states advocate increasing pressure on Russia over its actions in Crimea – Ukrainian Foreign Ministry

"The United States, Canada, Sweden, Turkey, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Estonia, Norway, the United Kingdom, Denmark [say there is a need] to increase pressure on the Russian Federation," Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Mariana Betsa tweeted.

In particular, Betsa informed that representatives of the US delegation stated that the United States fully supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine and will never recognize the illegal occupation and annexation of Crimea by Russia.

Betsa also reported that the delegation of Canada declared full solidarity with the Crimean Tatars, support for Ukraine and condemnation of the actions of the Russian Federation.

As reported, the 24th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council has started in Vienna today. The delegation of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine together with Akhtem Chiygoz and Ilmi Umerov holds an event on human rights situation in the occupied Crimea.
