PM Groysman: No obligatory assets declaration for general public in mid-term outlook

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has announced that the Cabinet of Minister does not plan to initiate the introduction of a nationwide system of obligatory income and expense declaration for the general public in the medium-term outlook.

"We do not support. This system won't be introduced," he said, according to a statement posted on the Cabinet's website on Thursday, June 15.

Ukrainians report almost UAH 51 bln in revenues, number of millionaires shrinks 25% in 2016As UNIAN reported, the government's priority action plan for 2017, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, contained plans to draft by the end of 2017 a bill introducing a nationwide income declaration system and tax control of individuals' expenditures with the use of indirect methods.
