Kazakhstan acquires Ukrainian An-74 for US$15 mln


Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has announced that Kazakhstan has acquired a Ukrainian-built An-74 plane for US$15 million.

"Good news! The Ukrainian An-74 manufactured in Kharkvi will be sent to Kazakhstan! The customer has already paid $15 million for the plane," he wrote on Facebook on Saturday, July 15.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers is in talks with some countries on production cooperation in aircraft engineering.

Groysman says this industry is an extremely competitive sector in the world, and Ukraine's advantage is in possessing technologies of complete aircraft production cycle.
