"The case of the criminal group organized by Serhiy Kurchenko is moving ahead. We have not only indicted him but also seized a lot of property... There has been special confiscation of the Odesa oil refinery, which Kurchenko wanted to return back with the help of [Mikheil] Saakashvili after the last comes to power. We have also seized everything related to the Metalist football club, about which Kurchenko also wanted to agree – on its return," Lutsenko said at a briefing in Kyiv.

Now, in the interests of the investigation, I cannot disclose when a relevant decision comes into force, but we hope that before New Year holidays, the Ukrainians will be deprived of unhappiness to listen and read certain pro-Russian editions," he said when asked about the UMH.

Earlier, Lutsenko claimed leader of the Movement of New Forces Party Mikheil Saakashvili had held protest rallies to seize state power in Ukraine and assist members of the criminal gang of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and fugitive Ukrainian oligarch Serhiy Kurchenko to stop their prosecution.
